About Me	Each day is a gift from God. Life is great here in Imlay City. When I graduated I couldn't wait to get out of town. I attended Oakland University where I received my B.A. in Communications. Then I moved to Boston, MA for a couple of years. I liked the city but missed my family. (my mom said I just grew up!) Came home and met the man of my dreams! Joe is an Imlay City Police Officer and we decided to make our home in Imlay. As far as the marriage thing, we took the scenic route. We were engaged for a number of years (8 to be exact!), we spent a lot of time traveling the world, the whole career thing, building our dream home and before we knew it we were in our late thirties (early forties for Joe!) So we thought we better get on the ball if we were going to have babies! I had my son Diego when I was 37 and my daughter Daniela when I was 38. I was pregnant for two years straight. And you know what it was the best thing to ever happen to either of us! I decided to stop working for a while and be a stay-at-home mommy and I am loving every minute of it. I ran for City Commissioner in 2009 and was elected. I am really enjoying having an impact on my community. As I said in the beginning "life is great and I am having a ball watching my babies grow!"
