In Memory of

Shirley Jean Calvin, age 84, of Chillicothe, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at her home.
Shirley was born on November 25, 1940 in Peoria, IL to Fred Norton and Viriginia Etta (Taylor) Allington. She married George J. Calvin on November 3, 1957 in Hernando, MS. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2013. Also preceding her in death are her parents and her sister, Donna Taylor.
Surviving are her sons, James (Rhonda) Calvin of Chillicothe and Shawn (Tami) Calvin of Petersburg, IL; her grandsons, Jacob (Miranda) Calvin of Chillicothe and Nicholas (Meghan) Calvin of Petersburg, IL; and three great-grandchildren, Rose, Scarlett and Ivy. Also surviving is a close friend and companion, Paul Lindauer.
Shirley was a dental receptionist in Chillicothe for over 30 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family. Shirley was quite the caregiver, always making sure her family and friends had everything needed and were taken care of
