Norman C. Davis, age 78, of Chillicothe, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his home.
Norman was born on February 1, 1946 in Peoria, IL to W. Clark and Hazel Lucile (Hart) Davis.
Surviving are his daughter, Kerry (Garth) Landsverk; his son, Brian (Dianna) Davis; his grandchildren, Ariel (Nick Carpentier) Carter, Cheyenne (Joe) Heins, Griffen, Isla and Adelaide Landsverk; Fiona Davis; and five nephews and six nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant twin brother; his brothers, Robert and Leo; and two nephews.
Norman graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in 1964. He joined the U.S Navy reserves in 1965 and served in the Vietnam War as a combat medic. He attended Bradley University when he returned home. He worked at Hagerty Brothers Steel for over 25 years leaving to go to Air-Land Transport where he retired in 2016.
Norman grew up at Camp Wokanda, just south of Chillicothe. He was very active with the camp and the Boy Scouts of America. Norman loved hunting deer and was an avid duck hunter. He belonged to Greenhead Duck Club in Woodford Co. IL. Most of all Norman loved gathering with his family and friends.
