About	Martin E. Auge, age 44, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008, in Texas. He was born on July 21, 1963, in Chillicothe, Ill., to Eugene and Rosemary Auge. He married Patty Korn on April 27, 1996, in Bloomington, Ill. Martin was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him. He worked for Auto Warehousing Company as a manager. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and loved to have barbecue cookouts. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Patty; his father, Eugene Auge; daughters, Jenai, Jerrica and Claire; sisters, Mary Peshek and Julie Wilson; brother, Pat Auge; and 19 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary.

I went to IVC with Marty and had the pleasure of working with him at Ladd's Redfox Market our Junior/Senior years. We always had a great time with Dave Harlan and Marty's Uncle/our Boss Jim Ladd. I worked primarily behind the meat counter and Marty worked the whole store stocking and cleaning. My fondest memory of Marty is how he used to eat a Whole RAW ONION every day at lunch. Never could bring myself to do that. He ate it like you or I would eat an apple. I also want to thank him for coming to visit me when we were both Active Duty Army and I was a patient at Tripler Army Medical Center going through some very rough times. It totally surprised me and I felt blessed to have his and his friend's company. It was a treat during a dark time. God Bless you in Heaven old Friend.
