Basic and AIT at Fort Ord, CA.. Jump school, Ft. Benning, GA., served with 82nd Airborne Division in the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam Conflict.
Ronnie C Baker
Ronnie C Baker Class of 1967
Army, 6 Years
served as ground recon with A troop 2nd squadron 17th calvary of the 101st Airborne Division in vietnam from dec.1967 to dec 1968, participated in the Tet offensive of 1968, and served the remainder of active duty as a tank commander with Co.C 3rd Battalion 33rd Armor 3rd Armored Division in the Federal Republic of Germany from jan. 1969 to july 1970, honorably discharged in july 1970

attended basic training at fort Campbell Kentucky, then scout AIT at fort knox kentuckythe back to fort Campbell Kentucky for basic airborne training (jump school), assigned to A troop 2squadron 17 cavalry 101 airborne division arrived in Vietnam December 13,1967,took part in the tet offensive in January 1968.left Vietnam December 1968 futher assigned to Company C 3 Battalion 33 Armor 3 armored division in Germany at ayers kaserne as a M60A1 tank commander, attended 3 armored division Academy and M60A1 tank commanders school left Germany in July 1970 ,honorably dischargrd in july 1970
