About Me	Graduated from NSU in 1975. Joined the Portsmouth Police Dept in the same year. Made it a career and retired in 1997, after 22 years of service, having reached the rank of Lieutenant. My last assignment was the department's Director of Training. (Was the first and only black female sergeant and then lieutenant in the history of the Portsmouth Police Dept.,and none since). Am currently the Victim Witness Director in the Portsmouth Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
