Allen Wayne was born in 1938 to Kenneth and Opal McBride Sodders. He was killed in December 10, 1965 in a car accident in Weatherford, OK at the age of 27 years. He had worked for Don's Market in Weatherford before his death. He married Mary Lou Pitt in 1960. They had two daughters Vicky born 1960 and Stacy born 1964. Allen had one brother, Donnie born 1963.
Dean King has fond memories of Allen Wayne when they played little league baseball together in Hydro. Allen Wayne played position of catcher and Dean played position of pitcher.
