Joseph Earl Johns was born on September 27, 1938 in Hydro, Oklahoma and passed away on March 13, 2015 at the age of 76 years. After graduation from SW State college in Weatherford , Oklahoma in 1962 with a BS Degree and Major in accounting he accepted a position in the accounting department of the US Gypsum plant in Southard , Oklahoma . He met his future wife Glenna Otwell of Canton, Oklahoma in the Southard office, who had just arrived one month before his employment with US Gypsum. They were married April 20, 1963. Survived by his wife Glenna of 51 years. They had two children: Tracy Erin born in 1966 and Darren Anthony born in 1967. Later Joe Earl completed a 35 year career in Property and Casualty Claims Administration.
