Billy Dale Wilson was born Nov. 13, 1936 in Bridgeport, OK to parents Willie Reed and Ida Gifford Wilson. Billy passed away on March 15, 2001 at the age of 64 yrs. after a lengthy illness in Guthrie, OK. Bill served in the USAF and was 32nd degree Mason and was a member of Fairview, OK Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Guthrie. Bill was employed in the Banking Industry, serving as an officer at several banks. Later, he was employed by Hamm and Phillips Oil Field Service Company. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife Carol, on Oct. 26, 1975 in Tulsa. They had their home in Fairview until moving to Guthrie in 1999. Bill loved hunting and fishing, being outdoors, traveling and antiques. He was a devoted husband and loved his family much. He is survived by his wife Carol of the home; two sons Rod Wilson of Indonesia and Russ Wilson of Newton, Texas, a brother Ernest Wilson of Piedmont, OK, 3 sisters: Bertha of Hinton, OK, Myrtle Cloninger of Hydro, and Linda Glasgow of Moore, OK. Accomplishments in HS include: FFA 2yrs. Band 3 yrs. , Baseball 4 yrs. 4-H Club, Business Manager of Annual Staff, Class Reporter 55-56, and Track 1 yr.
