Marston Duane Yearwood was born Feb. 1, 1939 South of Hydro to parents Marion B. and Cleo Yearwood and passed away August 22,2022 at the age of 83 years . Duane grew up on the Ghost Mound farm south of Hydro. He attended SW College and Oklahoma State University for a period of time following HS graduation and then decided to return to the farm in the Eakly community and then continued in farming and ranching for the remainder of his life. Duane met his wife Nina Rose at the Eakly. OK CO-OP in 1988 and dated and were engaged for 18 yrs. before they were married in 2006 in Paradise Island, Bahamas. He enjoyed the sport of big game hunting and served on Eakly Cemetery Board and was a member of the Eakly Baptist Church. Duane and Nina enjoyed their cattle herd where most of their time was spend . They enjoyed traveling , hunting, and going to the grandkids ballgames. Duane was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Cleo Yearwood and stepmother Pauline Yearwood and siblings Darol and Dale. He is survived by his wife Nina Rose Yearwood and children, siblings: Carol Dona Anderson, Evelyn Blevins, and Deon Yearwood. Accomplishments in HS include Pres. of his Senior class, FFA 4 yrs . Livestock and Land Judging. Next Year : attend college.
