About Me	After HHS, I went to college at The Virginia Military Institute where I finally found a sport that short skinny guys could compete in (boxing), and graduated in '84. Active duty in the Army for 6 years (half of that spent in Alaska). Qualified as an Airborne Ranger wher I eventually trained Rangers as a Captain in he mountain phase of Ranger School. After the Army, I spent about 6 years in the restaurant business managing for a couple different concepts. I was in Houston at the time and had started writing songs when I got the itch to go to Nashville where I could hone that craft. I met a guy there that talked me into going to work for him in the HVAC business and have been doing that since. Joyce and I have had an awesome time raising seven children and now enjoying seeing our two oldest daughters raising their own.
