Dear mr, mrs,

recently the ring below was found on a European world war II battlefield. I was hoping you could give me some information about the history of this ring, and the possibility of finding the owner / owners family.

As far as I can tell it's a highschool classring, most likely from 1934. It seems to me the owner fought in Europe during WWII and lost his ring during this campaign. There's initials in the inside of the ring.
Hope you can help me out.

PS. I'm not the one who found it but I stumbled upon your site looking for information.
