About	Jerald F. Jensen, 76, of Vancouver, WA, went home to be with the Lord in February 2024. He attended Hudson’s Bay High School and graduated from California Baptist College. As a corporal in the Marine Corps during two tours of Vietnam, he was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Jerry was a Baptist minister who loved his job and joyously continued to minister and officiate weddings throughout his life. As a pastor at various churches on the west coast, he was known for his love of discussing the Bible and sharing his beliefs. He also was a guidance counselor who specialized in at-risk students at Evergreen High School for 25 years. Jerry and Dixie danced, laughed, and worshiped together for 50 years. His children were his pride and joy, Jerry Jr. and his wife, Heather, Dawn and her partner, Jim, Dustina and her wife, Jennifer, and Jim and his wife, Nicole. Jerry honed his teasing skills with his younger sister, Joyce, and she will miss laughing with him. He loved and joked with his 10 grandchildren. At his Texas Hold Em table in heaven are his parents, Jerry and Joan; his in-laws, Myles and Betty; his sisters, Judy and Jackie, Jim Paul, and on his lap, his grandson, Daniel, learning how to bluff.
