About | Linda Tudor, 66 years of age of Brinnon, WA, passed away on December 14, 2016. She was born Linda Marie Dunn in Vancouver, Washington on May 8, 1950 to Lois O. and Warren K. Dunn. She graduated from Hudson Bay High School Class of ‘68. Linda lived in Alaska for several years where she learned to process loans in the mortgage business and came to Brinnon WA to house-sit for friends. She found she loved the area, the people living in Brinnon and the surrounding area so much that she would remain in Brinnon permanently. She worked for the Brinnon General Store, Johnson Realty and soon purchased Settlers Real Estate, which she ran until she closed the office in early 2016. Most recently, she worked for Van Dorm Realty Inc. in Olympia. She had been in real estate since 1989. Linda loved living in Brinnon with all her kind & loving friends. She was a very active community member serving on several community boards, helping at the shrimp fest, and managing Bill Marlow's campaign when he ran for County Commissioner. She enjoyed playing her flute while relaxing in the evenings - when she wasn't hiking the local paths taking pictures of animals, scenery and the beautiful flowers on the Hood Canal. Nothing excited her more than discovering the local dishes that she could gather shrimp, clams, oysters and mushrooms and turn into a delightful dinner experience. Linda was a beautiful lady inside and out who passed away due to cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren K. Dunn; mother Lois O. Short; and brother Frank M. Dunn. Linda is survived by her siblings, Lee Dunn, Janice Vance, Teresa Jackson and Glenn Dunn; and her much-loved stepson, John Tudor IV. |
