About	Ron G. Harter (2/25/1950 - 5/31/2016) Ron G. Harter, 66, a lifelong resident of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1950 to Harold and Delores (Larson) Harter. He graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in 1968. After graduating from Eastern Washington University in 1972, Ron married Sharie (Burns). They married on July 22, 1972 and have enjoyed 44 years of marriage. Ron retired from Freightliner Corp. in Portland, OR, in 2004, after 32 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed working on the grounds crew at Lewis River Golf Course in Woodland, WA. Ron enjoyed participating and all sports. He loved hiking, playing golf, and fishing. He enjoyed many trips to their place at Lake Cushman for kayaking, clamming, oysters, camp fires, and sunsets with Sharie. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his two precious grandchildren. Ron was happiest when surrounded by his family. He was a good man who made a difference in the lives of others. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharie; daughter, Lindsey Klein (Patrick). Papa Ron adored his 2 grandchildren, Kennedy and Harrison. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Anderson (Marty) and countless other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents.
