About	MichaeI Clyde Rogers (1/29/1949 - 6/26/2014) Mike Rogers passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family, on June 26, 2014 in Vancouver, WA after a short battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Vancouver, WA. Mike was a wrestler at Hudson's Bay High School where he graduated in 1968. Shortly following his graduation, Mike joined the United States Army. Of his four honorable years served (1968-1972), he spent from February 1969 - February 1970 in Vietnam. Mike came home to work 30 years in the plywood industry. He will always be remembered as a kind, loving, funny and gentle soul. Mike was always a very happy person; he loved nice cars, "Old Time Rock-n-Roll", going to the high school football games with his best friend, spending time with friends, family and above all his spirituality. He always found joy in life, had a smile on his face and a joke for each and every person he saw. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Johna Lou Rogers. He is survived by his father, Parker "Pete" Rogers; brother, Parker Rogers (Charlotte); daughter, Lorraine (Russell); granddaughter, Aliyah; nieces, Bridgett, Nikki and Angeline; and countless great-nieces and nephews. A man of endless smiles, laughter, joy and love; Mike will be forever missed and always remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
