About	Terry Woodards (8/24/1950 - 2/4/2013) George Terry Woodards, 62, passed away on February 4th, 2013 at his home in Portland, Oregon. He was born on August 24th, 1950, in Vancouver, Washington, to George and Velma (Robinson) Woodards. Terry grew up in Vancouver, Washington. He graduated from Hudson’s Bay in Vancouver, Washington, in 1968. After high school he: • Attended college at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, where he received a degree in Education. • Worked for Albina Youth Opportunity School (AYOS). • Worked for the Parry Center Agency as a treatment staff. • Was hired by PPS on August 31st, 1988 where he found his niche working at Parry Center school until his home going on February 4th, 2013. Terry loved working with the kids and helping them reach the next level of their life. • Enjoyed sports; he loved watching the WNBA, NBA, football and track & field, and he was quite the athlete in his junior, high school and college years. Terry was preceded in death by his father, George Henry Woodards. Terry is survived by his son Terry (& Kimberly) Woodards and daughter Topazé Woodards of Beaverton, Oregon, mother Velma Woodards of Vancouver, Washington, brother Jerry (& Tabrina) Woodards of Vancouver, Washington, sister, Diana Mitchell of Lakewood, California, five nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces, four great-nephews, and other relatives.
