About	Deri Struckmeier Bennett (3/29/1950 - 2/2/2011) Deri Sue Struckmeier and Dennis Earl Cartier were married on Sept 22, 1970. The record states: Deri Struckmeier age 20, born in Vancouver WA and Dennis Earl Cartier age 21, born in Vancouver WA were married in Whitman County Washington. Deri's second marriage was to Mr. Bennett. In the 1980's Deri Cartier's business the Cartier Bear Co. of Camas Washington was quite popular. Before I knew we were cousins I saw her on a tv show displaying her bears that she designed and made and she mentioned her name as Deri Struckmeier Cartier that day. Eventually I met Deri on an ancestry message board searching for info on the Struckmeier, Scharnhorst and Smathers relatives buried in the Bunker Hill Cemetery in Stella WA. Deri loved researching genealogy and her family history so it is fitting that she would be buried in the Bunker Hill Cemetery in Stella with her relatives whose lives she spent so much time researching.
