About	Edward A. Burckhard (11/10/1949 - 11/18/1999) Mr. Burckhard was born Nov. 10, 1949, in Yakima and lived in Clark County the past 39 years. He was a senior material planner at Freightliner Corp. in Portland. Survivors include his parents, Mary and Adam Burckhard; two stepsons, Michael Owings and Thad Nelson; three sisters, Marveline Burckhard, Jeanette Burckhard and Lisa Truax; two brothers, Duane Burckhard and Steven Burckhard; and special companion, Karen Owings. He enjoyed golf, bowling and watching his stepsons, nieces and nephews participate in their activities. Mr. Burckhard was an Atlanta Braves fan. He coached Little League baseball and Catholic Youth Organization football and basketball. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Fort Vancouver High School Booster Club and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
