A memorial service will begin at 2 pm Thursday at Glad Tidings Church for James “Larry” King, who died of cancer Sunday, April 25, 1993, in a Portland hospital. He was 43.
Mr. King, a reactor operator at SEH America Inc., had lived in the area since 1982. He was born Dec. 14, 1949 in Bremerton. He graduated from Clark College with honors and was active in computer clubs. Mr. King served in the Navy as an electrician from 1968 to 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Eufemia, at home; his mother, Betty E. King of Vancouver; his father, James W. of Spokane; two daughters, Heather C. King and Holly L. King, both of Vancouver; and two brothers, Dale W. and Kevin D., both of Vancouver.
