Doug was my best friend in high school. I spent a lot of time with I'm and we made many incredible memories. He was brilliant at mechanical things and went on to be a mechanical engineer. I was very close to his mom and great friends to his father and siblings. His mom, "Billie" virtually adopted me and was a great role model and an amazing mother and human being. They both went too soon. I still think of Doug of course and always will. Life is precious and short.
