| About Me | After graduation, worked as a cna for a couple years and got my LPN and for 10 yrs out of a 30 yr. career I took jobs and traveled all over the US and Virgin Islands. I opened a jewelry/craft store for a couple of years, then went to work doing tech support for a major communication company, then did Healthcare.gov, and for an insurance co. Now disabled, not working. Moved to Mt in 11/2019 to be able to scout out a good place to land the dog rescue I have started. I am a non profit per IRS, and probably did things backwards, but have lots of paperwork to do before we open on a public level. I have a pitbull that was in shelter for about 4 months before I adopted her, one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had. Then, I saw an ad in Salt Lake on our newpaper ads on line for a Bull Mastiff. 10 yrs old, going blind, severe arthritis, depressed, and several teeth that were needing to come out due to infection and poor oral care, sort of at deaths door, at least that is what the ad said. I took Maggi, met and took him home as a hospice dog. He is so far from dropping over now. No oral issues except a good cleaning, no longer depressed, has cataracts but eyes not covered in film so he sees quite well, and the supplements are working wonders!
