About	CHRISTI SKRUCK KRAUSS (1981 alumnus) Christi's life is being honored at this year's Pelotonia in Columbus, Ohio August 3-5, 2018. As we all know, losing a loved one is a devastating part of life. The impact of the loss changes us and it is up to each of us to decide what that change will be. The George Krauss ('82) family would like to share their story and invite other Hubbard alumni who have suffered a loss to join in and share as well. Christi's Story Christi faced and fought breast, bone, and brain cancer for fourteen years. She never complained or sought self-pity. She raised four children, worked full time, enjoyed landscaping, and lived a full life. She refused to let cancer ruin her time here on earth. She is an inspiration to us all and we are passing on her story so others can use her strength to fight their own battles. What Are We Doing The Krauss family has joined Pelotonia. Founded in 2008, the Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. Pelotonia is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism. Bryan Studer ('80) will be cycling for our team (#Team Christi). It is the vision of Team Christi that the members of the Hubbard High School Alumni gather together to support each other by honoring their own loved ones at this annual event.
