About YOUNGSTOWN - Bonnie J. Snowberger Bader, 56, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, following a nearly three-year battle with cancer.

She was born Sept. 19, 1955, in Warren, the daughter of Irvin and Louise Haggerty Snowberger.

Bonnie was a 1973 graduate of Howland High School, spending most of her life between Trumbull and Mahoning counties. As a young adult, Bonnie worked at Burger King in Warren before attending Floral Arts School. She was then hired at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where she worked for 13 years.

When Bonnie moved to Masury, she began working at Kaufmann's Warehouse while attending the Akron College of Massotherapy. She also completed her medical secretary training at the Trumbull County JVS. Bonnie later worked at Lexington Manufacturing and moved to Youngstown where she resided until recently when her illness returned her home to stay with her mother, Louise, in Howland.

She most recently worked at Delphi Packard Electric when she was diagnosed with cancer and had to take a lengthy medical leave.

A social butterfly, Bonnie could be found singing karaoke, dancing, out eating Chinese food or enjoying time with friends and family. An avid gardener, Bonnie enjoyed spending most of her time planting flowers and creating beautiful landscape designs in her backyard and with family members, even traveling to Wisconsin to plant gardens with her daughter and granddaughter.

Bonnie was recently saved and baptized at North Mar Church in Warren, where she attended services whenever her health allowed. An inspiration to those around her, Bonnie will always be remembered for her sunny disposition, her unique laughter, unusual variety of hats and endless sense of humor.

She is survived by her only daughter, Danielle Boyles; a son-in-law, Jason Boyles; and a granddaughter, Destenee, who currently resides in Wisconsin, where Jason is stationed with the active U.S. Army.

Bonnie was very proud of both her daughter and son-in-law's service in the Army. Bonnie is also survived by her loving mother, Louise; two sisters, Cynthia Perkins of Champion and Diane (Brian) Connelly of McDonough, Ga.; and a brother, Larry (Wendy) Snowberger of Oswego, Ill. She also leaves eight nieces and nephews, Audrey (Derek) Riley, Greg Perkins, Marc (Amanda) Connelly, Kevin, Shawn and Ryan Snowberger, Adam and Sarah Connelly; and three great-nephews, Trevor, Aidan and Owen Riley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin R. Snowberger.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, where friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Scott Praxl will officiate.

Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
