About WARREN - Christopher Adam "Karl" "Rammy" Steffey, 26, of Boston Avenue S.E., died at 9:42 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Christopher was born Sept. 11, 1984, in Warren, the son of Barry K. and Frances M. "Fran" Pyne Steffey.

A 2002 graduate of Howland High School, he had been an English major for three years at Youngstown State University.

He enjoyed reading, music writing, computers, professional wrestling and World Cup Soccer. He also was fluent in German and Latin.

He attended First Church of the Nazarene, Niles, and will be remembered as an "iconic style" posting member on the wrestling website WWW.f4wonline.com/content/view/20477/, where his words and personality will be deeply missed.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Fran, on Feb. 22, 2006.

He is survived by his loving family, including his father, Barry K. Sr., and his companion Maryhelen Hecker; his brother, Barry K. Jr. and his wife, Michele, of Niles; two sisters, Kimberly S. Nix of Niles and Michelle L. (Henry) Steffey of Howland; his paternal grandmother, Mildred "Millie" Steffey of Champion; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including Joshua, Rebekah (Preston), Amanda (Chris), Alexandra, Anthony, Alyssa, Abigail and Nathan.

His best friends, whom he respected with all love and dedication, Zack Sunderman, Dan Frankland, Chelsea Henrie, Jon Henrie, Tessa Petrocco and Costa Koutsoutis, were by his side daily as he endured his final days.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Niles First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Steve Spoon and the Rev. Dr. Gary Morgan officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Burial will be in Howland Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial account has been established at Farmers National Bank in his memory.

Arrangements and care has been entrusted to the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, 614 Warren Ave., Niles.
