Class of 1995
Jeff Adamec Joined the US Army right out of High School and hs been serving in the Army since graduation. As member of the US Army he has served as first a medic in the 82nd Airborne Division and then as a Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment. He then tried out and made the program for training Special Forces specifically the Green Berets. He finished his training just after the attacks on 9/11. Jeff Adamec then deployed to Iraq as part of the invasion force, and during that tour of duty was part of the Battle of Debeka Pass where Jeff Adamec was Awarded the Silver Star for Gallentry for his part in the battle as his Special Forces Team was under the Attack of a batltaion of Iraqi Republican Guard. Jeff Adamec single handedly destroyed 4 Iraqi tanks during this battle. Jeff Adamec's actions have been documented in the books Roughneck Nine-One, War Stories of The Green Berets,and he has written his own chapter in the book Heroes Among Us. Since this Jeff Adamec has been deployed to combat to both Iraq an Afghanistan a total of six times and has since been awarded 4 Bronze Stars, and an Army Commendation Medal for Valor. He recently was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds recieved after he was blown off his vehicle from a rocket propelled grenade in the summer of 2009 sustaining a traumatic brain injury and lower back injuries along with multiple related injuries. He at this time is recovering from these injuries and training to go back to Afghanistan yet again.
