LEO OUELLETTE Obituary

OUELLETTE, LEO “BUDDY” EDWIN Leo “Buddy” Edwin Ouellette, passed away on July 1, 2015. Born May 13, 1947 in Winsted; the son of the late Leo Gaston Ouellette and Susan (Sabo) Yadach and step-father, Martin Yadach. He attended The Gilbert School, graduated from Augusta Military Academy in VA and received an Associates Degree from Northwestern Community College. He enjoyed being a basketball referee, playing golf, telling jokes and drawing cartoons to submit for publication. Leo also loved playing music for countless people in local establishments. He is survived by his son, Andrew Ouellette (Kim) of Torrington; a daughter, Lindsay Ouellette of PA; grandchildren, Ryan and Ethan Ouellette; siblings, Judy Ouellette Hayes of Colebrook, Janis Yadach Williams (Jud) of Colebrook; Marty Yadach of Winsted; and niece and nephew, Christopher Hayes of Colebrook and Kimberley Hayes-Cormier of Sandisfield, MA. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, Winsted at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
