About	Diana Basil Hinson, 68 of White Stone died September 5, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 8, 1944 in Baltimore, Md. daughter of the late William L. Basil, III and Gladys Rebecca (Seaton) Basil. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents and a sister, Sandra Basil. Diana was a 1962 graduate of Howard County Senior High School and relocated to White Stone in 1964. She worked as a self-employed hair dresser until a few years prior to her death. Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Steel Robinson and Kimberly Steel Ridgell and her fiancé Joey Pergola all of Baltimore; a granddaughter Kelly Ridgell of Weems: a grandson Delain Thayer of Baltimore; a great granddaughter Khloe Ridgell of Weems; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marion and John Hayes of Linthicum, Md.; Bonnie Scarlatta of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; Nancy Winks of Elkridge, Md.; Sharon and Denny Eskins of Huntingtown, Md.; Cindy and Tommy Helwig of Hampstead, Md.; Terry Basil and Sean Donovan of Columbia, Md ; a brother Bill Basil IV of Islamorada, Fla.; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and a good friend, Donnie Landon.
Events	Graveside services were held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at White Stone United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 5537 Twin Knolls Road, Suite 433, Columbia, MD 21045 in appreciation of their excellent care.
