About	John Albert Lanahan, of Eldersburg, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born in Maryland, he was the son of the late John Luke and Helen Magdeline Smith Lanahan. He was the husband of Diane E. Lanahan of Eldersburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and working out at the gym. Surviving in addition to his wife are son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Bridget Lanahan of Reisterstown, brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Linda Lanahan of Lancaster, SC, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law James Watkins of Johnson, VT, and Catherine and Anthony Triola of Westminster, and nieces Cayla and Megan Triola.
Events	A memorial service was held on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations were made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
