| About | Patricia Ann Davis, beloved sister of John W. Davis, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, at FutureCare NorthPoint in Dundalk after convalescing following a stroke. She was preceded in death by her mother, June L. Davis and father, John B. Davis. She is survived by her brother John Davis, sister-in-law Betsy Davis, and nephews Peter Davis and Robert Davis. She also leaves behind a large extended family in Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Kentucky. Patricia graduated from Howard High School in Ellicott City in 1971 and went on to Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio and finished her BA at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Patricia had a gift for languages and chose to become a teacher to share her passion with high school students. She began her teaching career at Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore. She then taught in the Howard County school system at Glenelg High and Howard High beginning in 1984. She retired from Howard High School in 2012 as a well-respected and beloved teacher of Spanish and Latin. She was devoted to teaching and truly cherished her students. Patricia adored people and family, and you could always find her engaged in lively conversations at family reunions, birthdays, and parties. She also cherished animals, especially cats, and was often caught sneaking food off her plate to any visiting pet. |
