| About | Mrs. Rose Marie (nee Thompson) Seal, 61, of West Friendship, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Howard County General Hospital, Columbia, Md. Born Dec. 10, 1942, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Victor L. and Luella Miller Thompson. She was the wife of Luther H. Seal, of West Friendship, her husband of 43 years. She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and playing bingo. Surviving in addition to her husband are son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary Seal of Columbia; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Patrick Saunders of Ellicott City, Diana and Andy Liebno of Mt. Airy and Denise and Charles Stillings Jr. of Eldersburg; brothers, Harold Thompson of Ellicott City, Herman Thompson of Woodbine, Jack Thompson of Severna Park and Robert Thompson of Hampstead; sisters, Betty Plunkert of Boonsboro, Gloria Ecker of Laurel and Evelyn Curtain of Catonsville; sister-in-law, Bonnie Thompson of Ellicott City; brother-in-law, Francis Main of Brunswick; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Brittany, Christopher, Taylor, Jacob, Matthew, Timothy, Emily, Anna and Sarah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Tommy Wayne Seal; her daughter, Sherri Lynn Seal; and her siblings, Donald and Paul Thompson and Nannie Main. |
| Events | Funeral services were held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. from Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment was in McKendree Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and on Monday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Published by The Frederick News-Post on Aug. 14, 2004.
