| About | Wayne Melvin Marlock, age 82, of Sunderland, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, and three children, Nicholas, Danielle, and Keith, and his four grandchildren, Billy, Tiana, Landon, and Bella. He will forever remain in the hearts of his survivors, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wayne was born in 1940 at home in Elkridge, Maryland. He was the son of Lawrence and Cynthia Martlock, and the brother of Gary Martlock. All who have preceded him in death. He married Sharon in 1977. He worked for Westinghouse/ Northrop Grumman as draftsman until he retired in 1998. Among many passions in his life, he loved aviation, gardening, traveling, and photography. His greatest love though was his family and making memories with them. |
| Events | A memorial service was held for Wayne on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 12:30pm at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. The family requested, that instead of flowers, that donations be made in Wayne’s memory to The Huntington’s Disease Association (https://hdsa.org/get-involved/donation-opportunites/) to help find a cure for this disease and to provide support to others who are suffering and to their families. |
