Kerns, Robert “Bobby” Allen, passed away at home on December 7, 2008 at the age of 67. Born September 25, 1941 in Winchester, Virginia, Bobby grew up in Virginia and Maryland, where he played high school football going on to serve in the army. He eventually worked on the cruise ships, playing his guitar, singing, and traveling the world. He met his wife, Martine, and they lived in California until Martine returned to France. Bobby worked as a bartender for many years, and was well loved for his sense of humor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed boating, camping and archery. Bobby loved traveling back East to visit his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and for being a good friend. Bobby will be missed by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Carlton (Pookie) King of WV, Linda and Lindy Ritenour of VA; his nieces and nephews, he was especially close to Dennis, Tina, Sherry, and Belinda; and his many good friends, especially Ursula and Jacques.
