onald Hollingsworth, 74, of Sneedville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was born on August 25, 1942 in York, Pennsylvania to the late Henry and Hazel Culbreth Hollingsworth. Ronald had moved to Sneedville, Tennessee in 2012 after living most of his life in Jessup, Maryland. He was a retired carpenter having worked 42 years in the industry. Ronald was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing. Above all, Ronald was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Ronald was also preceded in death by a sister, Jacquelyne Plogger.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn Lee Miller Hollingsworth; sons, Ronald Jr. and Lance Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Cody, and Colton Hollingsworth; four great-grandchildren; sister, Carole Hollingsworth (Tommy) Hager; brothers, Henry (Donna) Hollingsworth, and James Hollingsworth; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at a later date.
