Carolyn G. Brewer, age 75 of Sykesville, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home. Born August 29, 1942 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Beulah Kahl Groves. She was the wife of the late Harlan Leonard Brewer. Carolyn had been a bookkeeper and secretary. She had worked as a hostess and server at Denny's in Eldersburg for 25 years. Surviving are sons David Alan Brewer, John Edward Merriam and his wife Mary, Leonard Harlan Brewer, and Duane Martin Brewer, daughter Debra Carol Akers and her husband Walt, sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Danny Wilcox, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Randall Dean Brewer and by her granddaughter Rachel Merriam.
