About	Joyce Leona Lilly passed away at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD. Joyce was born on January 19, 1942 to the late Charles W. Bertling and Catherine (nee Poe) Berlting. Joyce was raised and lived her entire life in Scaggsville. Joyce was primarily a homemaker, but did hold several bookkeeping jobs including several gas stations, The Laurel Race Track and Gayers Saddlery. She enjoyed Bingo and bowling. Joyce also enjoyed sewing and made outfits for her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her mother, Catherine Bertling, her children; Tory Plumley (and her husband Duane) of Laurel, Floyd Lilly, Jr. (and his wife Lynn) of Naples, FL, Michael Lilly of Scaggsville, Leah Ellinger (and her husband Harry) of Laurel, MD and Darren Lilly (and his wife Allison) of Thurmont, MD. Joyce is also survived by her sister Linda Holder of Laurel, MD along with 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased by her father, Charles Bertling, a brother, Charles Bertling, Jr. and a granddaughter Carla Tjarks.
Events	A visitation was held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD where funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment followed at Emmanuel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Scaggsville, MD.
