Douglas Eugene Auldridge, 62, of Bowie, died on Monday, Dec. 20, 2004. He was the beloved husband of Gail Hershey Auldridge; devoted son to W.T. (deceased) and Elizabeth Long Auldridge of Thurmont; loving brother to Dianne "Dee" Schurman of Laurel; father of Charles (Tracy) Auldridge of Liberty Hill, Texas.
He is also survived by nephews Brian and Keith Schurman; niece, Sheryl Schurman; mother in-law, Pearl Haussler; stepsons, Steve (Wendy) Hershey of Queenstown, and Jim (Kelly) Hershey of Collegeville, Pa.; grandchildren, Lauren Auldridge, Sarah and Jack Hershey; many close and loving relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 11795 Scaggsville Road, Fulton, on Thursday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m.
Reception followed.
Internment was in St. John's Lutheran Church, Creagerstown.
The family requested in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fulton, MD.
