About	It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved H. David House Jr., 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Monday, February 10, 2020, at his home. Born Tuesday, July 18, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Ella Irene (Ridgley) and the late Henry D. House.David was the owner and operator of Larkin Wholesale Company (Beer Distributor), in Hagerstown, for 34 years. He also was the past President of the Maryland Beer Wholesalers Assoc., supported many local charities, including the Breast Cancer Awareness of Cumberland Valley, The Maryland Theatre, The Museum of Fine Arts and numerous youth organizations. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed traveling. He was fortunate to have traveled the world. Starting as a child, David was a weekly movie goer.David is survived by his wife, Kathleen House; two daughters, Joyce R. Lee and husband Charles M. Lee of Hagerstown, MD, and Nuria Hervas Javega and husband Jose Javega of Seville, Spain; son, Henry D. House, III and wife Gail House of Hagerstown, MD; five grandchildren, Amanda Lee Belden, Rebecca Brashears and husband Kevin, Terin House, Chris House, Joseph House and wife Jessica; seven great grandchildren, Emily, Carter, Alexander, Olivia, Isabella, Charlotte, and Lillian; along with his step family, Amy, Clint, Justin, Amanda, Michael, MacKenzie, Kimberly, Braden, Morgan, and P. J.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte of 49 years.
Events	Services were held Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 1:00 pm, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD. Family received friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 13, 2020, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Interment was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD, immediately following the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choosing.Online condolences may be expressed at www.douglasfiery.com
