About	James Jerome "Jim" Haker, 77, of Supply, formerly of Catonsville and Lisbon, Md., died Friday, July 17, 2015, at the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick. Born in Elkridge, Md., on Feb. 24, 1938, he was a son of the late George Joseph and Virginia Dare Davis Haker. Surviving are his wife, Faye Shipley Haker; children, Kevin Haker of Finksburg, Md., Shawn Haker of Hanover, Pa., and Scott Haker of Dallastown, Pa.; a brother, George Haker of Ellicott City, Md.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Events	Memorial services were held Tuesday morning, July 21, at Sharon United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A C Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256; Sharon United Methodist Church, 2030 Holden Beach Road, Supply, NC 28462; or to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
