| About | Mitchell M. Lee, 79, of Sykesville passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 after a battle with cancer at University of Maryland Medical Center. He served his country in the United States Army from 1957 thru 1962 a Korean War Vet. Mitchell was born in Lee County, VA. He was the son of the late Robert E. Lee and C. Blanche Speak Lee. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph C. Lee and James F. Lee and sisters L. Elizabeth Ferguson and Retha M. Harless and the love of his life, Linda E. Gunn. He is survived by a brother, Fred E. Lee, sisters Alma L. Bainbridge and Ruth Mingee, step-son Peter Gunn and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, Dear friends, Ron Shifflett of VA, Jr. Rohrback also of Sykesville, his employer Mel and Gloria Schneider, Ed and Loretta Johnson, Lilian Kress-Zollars and Andrew Zollars whom he adopted as his own and many others he spent time with at Gaither Manor Apartments for the last 35 years. MItchell was an avid cat lover, and also is survived by Bear, Bootsy White Foot, and Guy Mar his faithful furry friends and countless others. |
