About	Patricia Mayhugh Kraft, 78, of Middletown, formerly of Newark and Ellicott City, MD, passed away peacefully on November 15 at her daughter's home surrounded by family. Pat was born in Howard County, Maryland to the late Ella and Ernest Mayhugh.Affectionately known as "Mommom," Pat had a zest for life, was an eternal optimist, and had a giving and fun-loving spirit. She had a creative soul expressed through a gift for painting with watercolor and oil, a love of music, and a passion for cooking. She retired from the University of Delaware after many years of service. Pat loved Jesus and lived a life of faith and service to her church and community. Her passion was her family, who will carry on her legacy for generations to come. Pat is survived by her five children: Kari Jones (Alan), Laura Gribbin (Daniel), Louis "Skip" Kraft IV (Lisa), Jeffrey Kraft (Kelly), and David Kraft. She was so proud of her 13 grandchildren: Erin Jones Mueller (Kyle), Megan Jones Ryskoski (Ted), Devon Jones Jacob (T.C.), Elizabeth Kraft Webb (Justin), Joshua Gribbin, Julia Kraft, Jeffrey Kraft Jr., Turner Jones, Robbie Kraft, Jonnie Gribbin, Louis Kraft V, Marielle Kraft, Ella Kraft and 4 great grandchildren: Isabella, Jacob, Adaline, and Harper. She is also survived by her sister Shirley M. Gamber, neice Linda Abato, and nephew Chuck Gamber. Pat's family is grateful to caregiver Janet Rogers and Delaware Hospice blessings Michele Smith and Erica Miller.
Events	A viewing was held from 6-9pm, Monday, November 18 at Connection Community Church, 100 W. Green Street, Middletown, DE 19709. A Celebration of Life will be at Connection on Tuesday, November 19 at 11am, with visitiation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connection Community Church, NOW Building Fund, P.O. Box 288, Middletown, DE 19709. "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!"
