About On November 25, 1956 he married the love of his life, Mary Henrietta Quesenberry. He worked at the doughnut mill in Ellicott City for awhile; sold real estate; and would go on to work many years for – and retire from - Westvaco in Laurel, MD... a job he thoroughly enjoyed with many wonderful people who became cherished lifelong friends.

Ronnie enjoyed camping, eating crabs, playing guitar, basketball, softball, western movies, and all the special moments with his family. He loved to laugh, to learn, and was wonderful at leading by example. He loved his Lord and Savior – teaching his children about Him, honored his commitments, was a man of integrity, steadfast and forthright, giving the best of himself each day, always kind to others.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as Mary's parents, a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

Ronnie quietly passed away at home during the early morning hours of September 30, 2020 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Mary; sisters Patricia Burch of Sarasota, FL and Joan Williams (and Danny) of Arcadia, FL; brothers George N. Howard of Biloxi, MS, Jerome Howard (and Shirley) of Sarasota, FL and Dennis Howard (and Cheryl) of Athens, TN; brothers-in-law Lowell Quesenberry of Marriottsville, Md and Robert Quesenberry (and Nancy) of Ellicott City, MD.

He is also survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ammons (and Daniel) of Crestview, FL, and Susan Howard Gernert (and Charles) of Ocala, FL; sons James Howard (and Beth), Joseph Howard, and John Howard all of Sykesville, MD.
