On June 16, 2013, Steven Wayne Smith, of Howard County, MD, beloved son of Anna (Bowers) and John H. Smith, Jr. of Ellicott City, MD, Brother of Jay H. Smith and his wife Eileen of Ellicott City, Brian E. Smith and his wife Sharon of Columbia, MD and Dale L. Smith and his wife Faith of Ellicott City. Mr. Smith is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Friends called on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Slack Funeral Home, P.A. , 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Services from the above funeral home Thursday 10 a.m. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Those who desire may direct memorials to National Kidney Foundation or The American Diabetes Association.
