| About | William "Raymond" Faith Jr., 82, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 with his family by his side, due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Born on August 10, 1940, to the late William Raymond Faith Sr. and the late Alice Johnson Faith. Raymond married Mary Ann Castiglia on February 1, 1964. Together, they settled and made Elkridge, MD their home, raising their only son, Michael Faith. Raymond was known by many as a Chief of Howard County Fire and Rescue, where he served his community for over 30 years. He took great pride in his roles within the Fire Service. Raymond had a profound impact on those around him and devoted countless hours to his community. In addition to Chief, Raymond was an avid gardener. Each year, he planted and grew vegetables and was the family expert for any gardening questions. Raymond enjoyed spending warm summer days at the beach and spending time in Florida at Disney World. He and Mary Ann took many trips together. His infectious smile, words of wisdom, and "no rush/laid back" way will always be remembered. Raymond leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Faith, a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Troi Lynn Faith, two granddaughters Tracie Faith and Taylor Jones, sisters Camille Marx and Christine Mort, a brother John Paul Faith (Joyce), sisters-in-law Jane Shilling, Luanne Cisna (Chris), and Michelle Castiglia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. |
| Events | Raymond donated himself to the Maryland Anatomy Board to further training and education. Any future service will be private. |
