He was 74. Born on December 19, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to the late Harry Christensen and Eileen Mitchell Christensen. Dale was the owner of Mayfield Landscaping in Ellicott City, MD and then started Eastern Motor Cars and moved the business to the Eastern Shore in 1990. He was a member of the Kent Island Yacht Club, the Elks and the Kent Island American Legion. He was a wonderful husband and loved spending time with his family and friends. Dale was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. We will cherish his memories forever. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemay Christensen of Chester, MD; Daughter Kimberly Spindler (Brian) of Ellicott, MD; son Kirk Christensen of Camden, DE; son Keith Christensen of Chester, MD; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dale was predeceased by his sons Craig and Kent Christensen.
Events	A visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Chester, MD, where a service was held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11 am. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Ellicott City, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123
