Mrs. Thomas was born in Laurel, Maryland to Samuel and Ellen Lillard Chaney. On Nov. 5, 1960 she married Maynard M. Thomas who survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Ellen Chaney, Savage, MD.; two children, Kimberly F. and Stephen B. Thomas, at home; one sister, Mrs. Dennis (Louise) Thornton, Savage, MD.; one brother Caroll Chaney, Laurel, Md.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of First Baptist Church, Fairborn.

Her funeral was held at 1pm, Tuesday at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Lusher and Paul Morton officiating.
Burial in Sigler Cemetary.
Friends called at the Ware Funeral Home after 5 pm and at the church 1 1/2 hrs prior to the service on Tuesday.
