Edna Marie Harrison, age 80, of Sykesville, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at her daughter's home in Hanover, PA.
Born July 24, 1940, in Maryland she was the daughter of the late Fred and Grace Anderson. She was the loving wife of the late George F. Harrison, Sr. who died in 2013.
Edna retired from Springfield Hospital Center, Sykesville where she had been an LPN. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Edna loved traveling near and far and especially spending time with her family. She had been a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by sons: George F. Harrison, Jr. of Sykesville and Charles F. Harrison of Hanover, PA; daughters and sons-in-law: Juanita L. and Stanley Shifflett and Linda S. and Lewis Wilson all of Hanover, PA; brother and sister-in-law Homer and Sue Anderson of Eldersburg and sister Betty Jo Wiles of Eldersburg. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by siblings Edward Anderson and Gertrude Misterka.
