About	Born in Washington, North Carolina to the late Goldie and Rose Freeman, he was one of five siblings, all of which have preceded him in death. Cornelius was a graduate of St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC and he earned his Masters of Education from American University in Washington, DC. He served as a teacher and Assistant Principal in the Howard County Public School system for 41 years.Cornelius leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will cherish his memories and he will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.
Events	Friends joined to celebrate his life on April 16, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. for a viewing. There was an additional viewing on April 17, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. and his funeral followed at 11 a.m. at The People's Community Baptist Church, 31 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, MD 20905. Pastor Haywood Robinson officiating. Arrangements entrusted to SNOWDEN FUNERAL HOME.
