As mentioned on FB:
I am very saddened by this news. She had a lot of faith in me as a student and always push me to my potential. My deepest sympathies go out to her family.
May she rest in Peace! She was a tough teacher but I liked her!
She sent me to Saturday school for smoking in the bathroom...she didn't play around but I know she helped a lot of kids! She wasn't even my teacher but she cared enough to send me. RIP
RIP, Mrs. Massaquoi. She took her job so seriously, and took nothing from no one. I remember seeing her one day in Home Depot 2010-2011, and she boasted to me how proud she is of her daughters, and that they were doing so well; we had a nice long conversation. Very happy I got to see and chat with her as an adult prior to her transition. May she, RIP...

She was tough but an amazing teacher and role model
Woke up this morning thinking of you Mrs. Massaquoi! Hardest yet BEST teacher I had at HHS 2000-2004! May you continue to rest peacefully!
