Friday morning at 4:32 AM, in Bangor, Maine, and surrounded by family, Sandra Breeden passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. All in all, she spent the better part of 14 years experiencing various stages of cancer and remissions. What a fighter she has been; grasping hope and faith in both hands as she lived her life to the fullest possible. A self-proclaimed traveling Gypsy, she travelled extensively throughout her life, hitting 5/7 continents (missing only Australia and Antartica).
Most recently, she travelled to Sardinia, Fiji, Tahiti, Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and many stateside destinations as she visited friends and family. We are saddened but glad her final trip is to join Jim Breeden in eternity. Sandy became a Christian as a middle schooler and found Christ to be sufficient and sustaining throughout the joys and sorrows of life.
Sandy experienced many challenges but inspired many with her perseverance and determination. She was especially gifted in encouraging young people and found a very fulfilling career as a middle and high school counselor in Colorado Springs.

We are planning to have a memorial service in the future TBA. She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, sisters, brother, mom and many more friends and family. “Most of it’s tragic, some of it’s magic, but I’ve had a good life all the way” — Jimmy Buffett ??
